For your production planning or factory planning, you’ll find various modules in the IMSolution which also allow you to plan complex products and processes quickly and simply.
Quick and effective production planning
At the start of your planning, you enter relevant product, process and resource data step by step into the IMDesigner foundation module. This is quick and easy. You can also import existing data from ERP, CAD or PDM systems. You receive a digital model of your production which serves as the starting point for all further optimization steps. All planning data is available to you in a clear tree structure. Alternatively or in parallel to this, you can map CURRENT STATE and FUTURE STATE value streams with the integrated digital value stream designer for use in further planning.
Validating your planning using dynamic simulation and the value stream method
In line with your needs, you can plan purely statically using the IMDesigner or you can validate your production planning using dynamic simulations in the IMValidation module. If you wish to apply the value stream method, you use the digital value stream designer which is integrated into the IMDesigner.
Smooth start to production thanks to parallel development
The IMDesigner supports parallel development processes in production planning and factory planning. This means that product design and industrialization can work together and in parallel with the development of a product. Experience has shown that this way of working significantly reduces the run-up to the start of production and the problems which can occur when starting up production are reduced.
