The IMValidation module allows you to perform dynamic line balancing. When synchronizing your lines you can take into account combinations of different variants, products and different production systems.

With dynamic line balancing, your lines are synchronized so that the work is spread optimally across all resources, waste is avoided, value-added proportions are increased and your ability to react grows. Labour and machines have an even, optimum workload.

Variants and product mix under control

No matter how complex your production is, with the IMValidation module, you can include any combination of products and variants in the simulation.

Testing different production designs

Thanks to the flexible definition of simulation scenarios, you can also compare different production designs: e.g. U-shape, station assembly, island assembly.

Flexible scenario management

For each scenario you combine different building blocks with each other: product mix, variant mix, flow models, production designs and methods. This allows you to find the best solution for your production. For instance, you can compare whether an automated or manual production line would be more suitable for a particular product mix.

Connection to existing data

In the simulation you use the factory model you set up in the IMDesigner foundation module. Thanks to the integration with your existing process model, the simulation takes less work and results can be quickly incorporated into the process model.

Additional evaluations and analyses

You can analyze and compare the results of your simulations in greater depth in the IMAnalyzer module. For instance, you can compile floor area analyses, production costs calculations, ramp-up/ramp-down analyses, location benchmarks and acquire information on aspects such as capital lockup and dimensioning of logistics buffers.

Day-to-day detailed planning

For day-to-day detailed planning and synchronization you use the IMController module. It uses not only your factory model, but also the current data from your ERP system. This way you have your daily and short-term staff planning under control and can act flexibly.
