Achieve a state of continuous improvement

Continuous improvement happens when small steps forward are taken non-stop. All processes in your company have to be geared towards this. The modules of the Integrated Manufacturing Solution (IMS) support you in taking these steps. Through the long-term documentation of all activities, a cycle of continuous improvement is created.

Identify your factory’s weaknesses

The IMDesigner and IMValidation modules allow you to discover system weaknesses such as disproportionately high manufacturing costs, under-utilization of resources or high stocks. You then know where CIP measures need to be taken.
Mistakes which occur during manufacturing are recorded by the machine operators directly on site with mobile touch-screen devices. The data is automatically linked to the correct resources and processes and can be processed further.

Documenting CIP measures digitally

With the digital value stream designer in the IMDesigner module, you now perform value stream design digitally, include operative ERP data in it and are provided with valuable key performance indicators to evaluate your value stream in the IMAnalyzer in a very short space of time.
Your CIP activities are documented permanently and linked to the objects concerned (products, processes,…) – regardless of the CIP method you use. A CIP knowledge base is born.

Comparing and validating solutions

With the IMValidation module, you try out your solution ideas virtually first of all, test different scenarios or observe value streams dynamically.
You can then analyze, compare and evaluate all the data from the different modules and simulations in the IMAnalyzer module. This allows you to take sound and informed decisions.
You can then forward the validated data to your ERP for your operational business with no extra hassle.

The learning factory

As you work with the same data base for all activities, all your CIP activities are connected to each other and every single step is recorded. The IMAnalyzer module shows you the progress made and indicates areas where you can still take CIP measures. It also shows how your factory has developed over time. Your factor improves a little every day – your factory learns.
